Strike Up the Band
The Ohio State Fair offers a host of concerts for all ages and musical tastes.

Sing along to your favorite tunes this summer at the Ohio State
Fair Concert and Event Series, part of the family-fun experience at the
fair. Whether you like to rock and roll or croon along to country music,
you’ll find something for everyone during the series, July 25–Aug. 5.

Jim Gaffigan and Billy Gardell
Two American stand-up comedians and actors take the stage to kick off the concert series with their hilarious routines.
July 26
7 p.m.
Billy Currington, with special guest Kip Moore
Country music artist Currington will delight country fans with a little help from Kip Moore, a country singer-songwriter.
July 27
7:30 p.m.
Chicago and The Doobie Brothers
One
of the longest-running and most successful rock bands in history,
Chicago will perform with another favorite, The Doobie Brothers,
renowned for their vocals.
July 28
7 p.m.
The Isley Brothers, featuring Ronald and Ernie Isley
“Twist and Shout” with this famous duo as they take you through the world of R&B, doo-wop and good ol’ rock ’n’roll.
July 29
1 p.m.
All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir
In
this free concert, the All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir,
composed of top talent from across the state, delight audiences with a
variety of musical selections.
7:30 p.m.
Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat
Singer-songwriter DeGraw will entertain with his pop rock originals while Caillat plays guitar and sings her pop hits.
July 30

Casting Crowns, with special guest Sanctus Real
Casting
Crowns is a Grammy- and Dove Award-winning contemporary Christian rock
group. They perform with Sanctus Real, a Christian rock band.

Cab Calloway Orchestra
Tap your foot to the lively swing music of the Cab Calloway Orchestra during this free concert.

Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson
Country music legends Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson will perform their classic hits.

Boston, with special guest Kansas
A staple for any classic rock fan, Boston makes the Ohio State Fair
Concert series part of its 2012 North American tour with Kansas, the
famed progressive rock band.

The Band Perry, with special guest Dustin Lynch
The Perry siblings will perform country-pop along with Dustin Lynch, country singer-songwriter.

The-Dream and Miguel
The-Dream,
a singer-songwriter who co-wrote such hits as Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies”
and Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” will share the stage with Miguel, R&B
performer and songwriter.

Victoria Justice, with special guest Max Schneider
Teen pop singer Victoria Justice and up-and-coming singer-songwriter
Max Schneider will entertain the younger set with their fun pop numbers.

Jason Aldean, with special guest Luke Bryan
Award-winning Jason Aldean takes the stage along with fellow country music singer Luke Bryan.
